US4 – 3.5mm needles
Tapestry needle
Stitches Used: knit, purl
Cast on 43
1,3,11,13,15,23 Knit all stitches
2 and every alternate row: Work ea. St in the manner that it represents. I.E knit
the knits and purl the purls.
5,7,9th rows: (k1 border), * k9, p5, k4*, repeat from *to* to last 6 sts, k5, then (k1
border)
17,19,21: (k1 border) p5, k13 repeat from * to * to last 6 sts, p5, then (k1
border)
1) Repeat rows 1-24 one more time.
2) Repeat Rows 1-10 once
Knit 5 rows and Bind off. Block if Necessary.
