You will need:

  • Poppets yarn ball (4ply yarn)
  • 2.5mm needles
  • Darning needle
  • Small amount of stuffing
  • Large Paperclip

Top bumps – you will need 4 on the same needle.

Cast on 1 stitch.

  1. Knit front, yarn over, knit the back (3 stitches)
  2. Purl whole row
  3. Knit front and back, knit front and back, knit 1 (5 stitches)
  4. Purl whole row

Slide all 4 sections together. You will now knit this as one.

  3. Knit row
  4. Purl row
  5. Knit 1, SSK, knit 4, k2tog, knit 2, ssk, knit 4, k2tog, knit 1
  6. Purl row
  7. Knit 1, SSK, knit 2, k2tog, knit 2, ssk, knit 2, k2tog, knit 1
  8. Purl row
  9. Knit 1, SSK, k2tog, knit 2, ssk, k2tog, knit 1
  10. Purl row

Cut yarn with 30cm remaining. Thread onto darning needle, pull tight. Fold heart in half, stitching up the side of the heart tucking the tails at the top into the heart itself.

Stuff it at this point, and thread the end of the paperclip through the bottom of the heart.
