4mm Needles Press studs
Green double knitting yarnBurnt orange double knitting yarn
Yellow double knitting yarn.
Wool Needle for sewing up.
Needle and thread for sewing on press studs
Instructions:
Tension 22sts or 30 rows to 10cm, using stocking stitch on 4 mm needles, not critical.
Abbreviation:
sts Stitches
Pattern: (make 2 alike)
Using 4 mm needles and green yarn, cast on 44 sts.
Working in stocking stitch throughout work colours thus:
5 rows in green
1 row burnt orange
3 rows yellow
1 row burnt orange
Continue working this colour sequence in stocking stitch until piece measures 11 inches (28cm) ending with a Purl row.
Cast off.
To make up:
