Knitting instructions:
Pillow with a Fir Tree Pattern
Pillow size: 50 x 60 cm
You will need: Novita Wool yarn (100% wool, 135 m/50 g) - 250 g in brown color (695), Novita Nalle yarn (75% wool, 25% polyamide, 130 m/50 g) - 250 g in blue (039) color, circular needles size 6 (80 cm long), a pillow measuring 50 x 60 cm.
Note: Use each color of yarn held double.
Main pattern: Knit in the round with knit stitches, following the pattern chart.
Gauge: 15 sts = 10 cm.
Work description
With brown yarn held double, cast on 180 sts, knit in the round 2 rows with knit stitches. Then start the main pattern from the 1st row, repeating the 10 sts pattern repeat 18 times in width. In height, repeat rows 1-5. At a work height of 49 cm after completing the 5th row of the pattern, knit 2 rows with brown yarn and bind off the stitches.
Assembly: Sew one seam. Insert the pillow into the cover and sew the second seam.
Brown Pillow with Stripes
Pillow size: 50 x 60 cm
You will need: Novita Wool yarn (100% wool, 135 m/50 g) - 350 g in brown color (695) and 100 g in beige color (624), circular needles size 6 (80 cm long), a pillow measuring 50 x 60 cm.
Note: Knit with the yarn held double.
Stockinette stitch: When knitting in the round - only knit stitches.
Gauge: 14 sts = 10 cm.
Work description
With brown yarn held double, cast on 168 sts, knit in the round in stockinette stitch. After 6 rows, switch to beige yarn and continue, alternating 2 rows with beige yarn and 8 rows with brown yarn. At a work height of 50 cm after completing the last brown stripe, bind off the stitches.
Assembly: Sew one seam. Insert the pillow into the cover and sew the second seam.
