• Knitting needles No. 3.5.
• Black elastic thread.

Rib Stitch 2/2: Alternate 2 knit, 2 purl.

Increase in Fabric: Pick up the horizontal thread between two stitches and knit it twisted.

Gauge, Rib Stitch 2/2: 27 stitches and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: Cast on 108/120/128/140/156 stitches, and knit Rib Stitch 2/2, starting with 1 edge stitch and ending with 2 knit stitches and 1 edge stitch. Decrease as follows:

Row 15: 3 stitches, 2 stitches together, 20/26/30/36/44 stitches, 2 stitches together, 2 stitches, 2 stitches together, 46 stitches, 2 stitches together, 2 stitches, 2 stitches together, 20/26/30/36/44 stitches, 2 stitches together, 3 stitches = 102/114/122/134/150 stitches.

Row 29: 3 stitches, 2 stitches together, 19/25/29/35/43 stitches, 2 stitches together, 1 slip-knit-pass (slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1 stitch, and pass the slipped stitch over), 46 stitches, 2 stitches together, 1 slip-knit-pass, 19/25/29/35/43 stitches, 2 stitches together, 3 stitches = 96/108/116/128/144 stitches.

Row 43: 3 stitches, 2 stitches together, 17/23/27/33/41 stitches, 2 stitches together, 1 slip-knit-pass, 44 stitches, 2 stitches together, 1 slip-knit-pass, 17/23/27/33/41 stitches, 2 stitches together, 3 stitches = 90/102/110/122/138 stitches.

Row 57: 3 stitches, 2 stitches together, 15/21/25/31/39 stitches, 2 stitches together, 1 slip-knit-pass, 42 stitches, 2 stitches together, 1 slip-knit-pass = 15/21/25/31/39 stitches, 2 stitches together, 3 stitches = 84/96/104/116/132 stitches.

After 17 cm from the cast-on edge, increase by 1 stitch on each side, 3 stitches from the edge, every 10th row 4 times = 92/104/112/124/140 stitches. After 32 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off 3 stitches on each side for the armholes, then decrease 1 stitch from the edge (using slip-knit-pass on the right side, and knitting 2 stitches together on the left side) as follows:

Sizes 34/36, 38/40, 42/44: In every 2nd row 8 times.

Sizes 46/48, 50/52: In every 2nd row 4 times, and in every 4th row 4 times = 70/82/90/102/118 stitches.

After 36/37/38/39/40 cm from the cast-on edge, increase by 36 stitches on each side = 142/154/162/174/190 stitches. After casting on the extra stitches, decrease 1 stitch from the edge (using slip-knit-pass on the right side, and knitting 2 stitches together on the left side) every 8th row 4 times = 134/146/154/166/182 stitches. At a height of 46/47/48/49/50 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.

Front: Knit like the back.

Assembly: Sew the side seams and shoulder seams. Insert the elastic thread along the top edge of the top.
