Joining MC; knit until hat is 6” from cast on edge.
Begin decrease round.
Rnd 1; k12, k2tog; rep from * to eor.
Rnd 2; knit to eor
Rnd 3; k11, k2tog; rep from * to eor.
Rnd 4; knit to eor.
Continue in this manner decreasing 1 less stitch per round , alternating with a plain knit round, until you
have 24 sts left and have completed a knit round. Now, decrease on every round until you have 6 sts
left. Break the yarn and thread tail through the 6 sts.
Weave in all tails and block if necessary.
