Knitting instructions:

Blanket size: 70 x 75 cm + border.

You will need:

Yarn (100% acrylic, 145 m/100 g) - 350 g of blue color (145).

Needles size 6.

Garter stitch: knit every row.

Gauge: 14 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 74 sts and knit 3 rows in garter stitch. Then knit the pattern according to chart 1 as follows: 2 knit sts, repeat the pattern of 10 sts 7 times, 2 knit sts. Knit in height from rows 1 to 12 of the chart, repeat the pattern 12 times. Always knit 2 sts in garter stitch on both sides of the pattern. Then knit 3 rows in garter stitch and bind off all stitches.

Border: Cast on 5 sts and knit according to chart 2, repeating rows 1 to 8, to the required length. Sew the border to the edge of the blanket, making decorative pleats at the corners.

Lay the item out on a flat surface, moisten, and allow to dry.
