Gauge: 20 sts and 21.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Knitting pattern chart for women's lace top:

Back. Cast on 73 (83) 93 stitches and knit 1 wrong side row with purl stitches. This row is not counted in the following calculations. Continue working in lace pattern. After 33.5 cm = 72 rows from the initial row, knit 1 cm = 2 rows in garter stitch for the closing band, and to gather the width in the 1st row, knit all yarn overs together with the next stitch = 59 (67) 75 sts. After 34.5 cm = 74 rows from the initial row, bind off all stitches as purl stitches.

Front. Start knitting like the back, but without the closing band. After 34.5 cm = 74 rows from the initial row, cast on 1 x 5 stitches for the strap on both sides, then in every 2nd row 7 (8) 9 x 5 new stitches and include in the pattern = 153 (173) 193 sts. After 54 cm = 116 rows (55 cm = 118 rows) 56 cm = 120 rows from the initial row, knit 1 wrong side row with purl stitches and then bind off all stitches as knit stitches.

Assembly. Sew the side edges of the strap (the seam is located in the middle of the back). Crochet the initial rows of the strap with 1 row of slip stitches. Fold the strap inward (see the dashed line on the pattern) and sew it in the middle of the back for 6 cm. Sew the side seams.
