You will need:
– 4.5mm circular knitting needles
– DK or Aran weight yarn (200-250gm)
– Darning needle

Cast on 120 stitches – join in the round.

Row 1: Purl
Row 2: Knit
Row 3: Knit 2, yarn over to create new stitch, knit 2 together. Repeat to the end of the row
Row 4: Knit
Row 5: Purl
Row 6: Knit
Row 7: In the first stitch: knit, yarn over, knit (You now have 3 stitches instead of one) Turn work, purl the 3 stitches, turn work, slip 2 together as if to knit, knit 1, pass slipped stitches over the knit stitch. Knit 3. Repeat to the end of the row.
Row 8: Knit
Row 9: Purl
Row 10: Knit
Row 11: Knit 2, purl 2. Repeat to the end of the row
Row 12: Knit

Repeat the 12 rows 7 times (or more if you wish for a longer cowl).
Cast off. Darn in the yarn tails.
