INSTRUCTIONS:
Cast on 64 stitches with a stretchy cast on. Join in the round, being careful not to twist.
Rounds 1-8: *K1, P1. Repeat from * around. (64 sts)
Round 9: K1, P1, 25 times (50 sts). (Okay maybe this is a little obsessive, but I like the starting tail to be at center back.) Bind off 28 sts, be sure to keep your bind off loose. (36 sts remaining)
The remainder of bib is worked back and forth in rows.
Row 1: *K4, P4. Repeat from * across. End with K4. If you are as obsessive as I am: On first row only: knit to last stitch, slip that stitch as if to purl to the right needle. Pick up both loops of the first bound off stitch with left hand needle, slip the slipped st back on the left needle and knit it and the picked up loops together. If not as obsessive: just knit that last st and get on with row 2. (36 sts)
Row 2: *P4, K4. Repeat from * across. End with P4. (36 sts)
Row 3: *K4, P4. Repeat from * across. End with K4. (36 sts)
Row 4: *P4, K4. Repeat from * across. End with P4. (36 sts)
Row 5: *P4, K4. Repeat from * across. End with P4. (36 sts)
Row 6: *K4, P4. Repeat from * across. End with K4. (36 sts)
Row 7: *P4, K4. Repeat from * across. End with P4. (36 sts)
Row 8: *K4, P4. Repeat from * across. End with K4. (36 sts)
Repeat rows 1-8 three times.
Repeat rows 1-4 once.
Next 6 rows: K across.
Bind off. Weave in the ends.
