Knitting instructions:

Size: 38

You will need:

  • Yarn (30% mohair, 70% acrylic, 450 m/100 g) - 150 g of brown color, remnants of dark brown yarn.
  • Needles No. 3.5, crochet hook No. 2.5.

Stockinette stitch: knit rows - knit sts, purl rows - purl sts.

Relief pattern:

1st row - purl sts.

2nd row - from 1 st knit 3 sts (1 knit st, 1 purl st, 1 knit st), purl 3 together. Repeat - to end of row.

3rd row - purl sts.

4th row - purl 3 together, from 1 st knit 3 sts (1 knit st, 1 purl st, 1 knit st). Repeat - to end of row. Repeat rows 1-4.

Attention! The pullover is knitted sideways - from one sleeve to the other.

Front: cast on 54 sts and knit the sleeve in the relief pattern for 7 cm. Then, evenly decrease 8 sts across = 46 sts, and from the left side out of the chain sts, pick up 71 sts = 117 sts. Next, knit 17 sts in the relief pattern, 100 sts in stockinette stitch. To straighten the fabric, every 5 rows, knit 2 additional rows in the stockinette stitch. For this, knit the stitches to the relief pattern, turn the work, make a yarn over and knit an additional row. Knit the yarn over from the previous row together with the first st of the relief pattern. After knitting like this for 13 cm, evenly increase 17 sts across the stockinette stitch = 134 sts. Change the yarn to dark brown where you were knitting stockinette stitch, and knit in the relief pattern for 2.5 cm.

Then continue knitting 17 sts in the relief pattern with the brown yarn. Then, for the neckline, bind off 14 sts on the right side. Continue knitting only with the brown yarn in stockinette stitch for 18 cm. Then knit in reverse order: evenly increase 26 sts across, for the neckline from the chain sts, pick up 14 sts = 134 sts and knit 17 sts in the relief pattern with brown yarn, 117 sts with dark brown yarn. After knitting 2.5 cm, evenly decrease 17 sts across, except for the 17 sts that were knitted with brown yarn = 117 sts.

Then knit with brown yarn - 17 sts in the relief pattern, 100 sts in stockinette stitch. To straighten the fabric, every 5 rows, knit 2 additional rows in the stockinette stitch. For this, knit the stitches to the relief pattern, turn the work, make a yarn over and knit an additional row. Knit the yarn over from the previous row together with the first st of the relief pattern. After knitting like this for 13 cm, bind off 71 sts on the right side, leaving the sleeve stitches = 46 sts. Evenly increase 8 sts across the sleeve = 54 sts. Knit 7 cm in the relief pattern. Bind off the stitches.

Back: knit similarly to the front.

Assembly: sew the shoulder and side seams. Edge the neckline, the lower edge of the sleeves, the front and the back with a crochet hook using brown yarn following the pattern.
