BABY yarn (100% acrylic, 400 m/100 g) - 100 g in red color.

Needles No. 3.

Work Description

Cast on 50 stitches and knit a 1x1 rib (1 knit st., 1 purl st.) for 4 cm. Then, knit the following for 25 cm: 25 sts according to the pattern, 25 sts in stockinette stitch (knit rows - knit sts, purl rows - purl sts).

Next, knit the heel as follows: leave 25 sts of the lace pattern on an extra needle, and knit the remaining 25 sts with short rows, not knitting the last st in each row. When there are 9 sts left on the needle in the middle of the row, start knitting 1 st at the end of each row (from the sts that were not previously fully knit) until there are 25 sts on the needles again.

Then transfer the 25 sts of the lace pattern and knit all 50 sts according to the pattern for 8 cm. Next, knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch. Then decrease at the beginning of the row - 1 st, in the middle of the row - 2 sts, at the end of the row - 1 st, decrease until there are 18 sts remaining on the needles. Bind off the stitches. Sew the seam.
