Fold the top and bottom edges of the lining fabric towards the wrong side for seam allowances. Fold the lining, wrong sides together, to form a pocket with a height of 23 cm. Pin in place and sew the side seams. Fold the seam allowances of the flap lining.

Insert the lining and the piece of cardboard into the bag (the cardboard should be placed between the back of the bag and the lining). Pin in place and sew the lining to the bag with an invisible stitch around the entire perimeter of the opening and around the flap. Fold over the flap.
